1.We are sad to announce our ACEM ex-General Director Rev. Simon Wong’s mother – Mrs. Po Ying Chan Wong passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023 at the age of 96. Her funeral service will be held on February 25, 2023 at 1:45 pm at Richmond Hill Christian Community Church (Sanctuary 1). May Our Lord comfort Rev. Wong and his family. 2.The ACEM 2023 Holy Land Study Tour will depart for Israel on February 20 and return to Toronto on March 3.
There are 43 members from 6 ACEM churches, to be led by Rev. Dominic Tse and his wife. Please pray for the health of the group members and safety of the trip.
3.Rev. Paul Chang (CNEC)
Rev. Paul Chang had a fall at home three weeks ago. He hurt his head and suffered internal bleeding. The bleeding has stopped and left a scar only. Thankfully Rev. Chang is recovering gradually and remains alert. He is able to communicate with simple words. Due to the difficulty of swallowing, the medical team has inserted a feeding tube to aid him for the proper intake of medications and nutrients. Rev. Chang will receive rehabilitation for about a month. May the Lord minimize his physical discomfort and grant him peace. Please pray for his healing and early discharge.
