ACEM Summer job positions: Two (2)
Responsibilities:
The recruited students work with the committee to plan the celebration, to network with other ethnic groups, to recruit & train volunteers, to design the program, to promote the event, to mobilize the communities especially the young people to participate and facility preparation. They also assist the general office administrative operation.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills: word processing and internet systems in a MS Office environment
- Experience writing and managing social media and other online content
- Graphic Design experience an asset
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility
- Excellent planning, organization, follow through, time management, attention to detail
- Experience working as part of a team with interpersonal skills
- Willing to consult with others when uncertain or needing clarity and be open-minded to feedback
Legal Qualifications:
- between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
- have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2; and
- legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with Ontario legislation and regulations
Required education: College/University or equivalent
Required language: Chinese & English

Job Type: Part-time, 30 hours per week
Salary: $11.40 /hour
