Please pray for Boonprasert and Boon Har's ministries. Pray for the 28 new kids who attended the Fun Day in December 2024 — that they will keep going to church to know more about Jesus. 2.Field Visitation Trips (FVT) in February
1. V&J (Middle East)
V&J are aiming to raise between CAD 25,000 and CAD 30,000 to purchase a used car. This vehicle will be used to transport youth, encouraging them to participate in the soccer ministry, as well as for daily needs. The higher cost is due to taxes and restrictions on foreign buyers. 1. Rachelle Ho (Cambodia, GO International)
Thank you for God’s protection; Rachelle's home assignment in Toronto has been going smoothly. Please continue to pray for her upcoming trips to Vancouver, San Diego, and Hong Kong, as well as her return to Cambodia on March 6. Pray for her safety and health during her journeys, and that her sharing will inspire more people to participate in mission work.
1. ACEM Missions Committee
i) Missions Committee would like to start the new year by praying for each of us as supporters, senders, and our missions workers using the word of God in Psalm 121:7-8, “The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Please pray for all missions workers and the Field Visitation Teams. 2024 Total Missions Budget: $2,144,602; Missions Offering Received (up to November 30): $1,506,109; Mission Fund Still Required for 2024: $638,493. Let us continue to give faithfully to support mission work and mission organizations. Pray for a strong start in the New Year.
1.Recruitment: ACEM Ministry Director
1.Yin Zao Zhang -Curitiba, Brazil (GO International)
In spite of frequent visitation to the restaurant owners, Yin Zao has begun engaging the young congregants to reach out to potential youngsters to share the gospel. He is grateful for the support of the short-term mission team in this ministry. Please pray for Yin Zao’s Brazilian residency renewal. He’s also planned to visit Hong Kong to share his ministry in late December, as yet he needs to get an entry visa.
1. The ACEM conference was held on November 24. The following motions were passed:
a) The 2025 ACEM General Budget; b) The 2025 ACEM Missions Budget; c) The General Fund contribution rate for 2025 will remain at 6.95%; d) To approve the transfer of a maximum of $200,000 General Fund to the Mission Fund as the cash flow buffer when needed, effective immediately to June 22, 2025, inclusive; e) ACEM Council New Member 2025 – from January 1, 2025, to
