1) Amend of ACEM news last week: The ACEM conference was held on Nov 26. The following motions have been passed: e) ACEM Council Member 2024 - Replacement: Rev. Calvin Lam from RHCCC will replace Rev. Steven Folts; Pastor Katherine Chi from Milliken CCC will replace Joseph Wong, starting on November 27, 2023 till next year Dec 31, 2024.
2) ACEM Mission Fund
In 2023, our estimated mission budget is $2,040,000. As of November 30th, we have a shortfall of $550,000. Let us continue to give faithfully to support mission work and mission organizations. Pray for a strong start in the New Year.
3) Rev. Paul Chang (CNEC)
Rev. Chang has just celebrated his 91st birthday with brothers and sisters and CNEC co-workers in October. Despite the ongoing civil war in Myanmar, the operations at the Heart Melody Music Worship Centre in Lashio continue, conducting worship training courses for various churches, and serving the refugees. However, the safety concerns and high construction costs have delayed the project's progress. Please pray for the spiritual revival of the youths, the construction, the delivery of relief supplies, and peace. May God bless and protect them.
