1.ACEM
Wendy Cheung and Christine Cheung have left the ACEM Office on Oct. 14 and Oct. 28 respectively. We would like to thank them for their faithful service with ACEM. May God continue to bless them in the days ahead.
2.Rachelle Ho (GO International)
Please pray for the continual expansion of the local ministry, the online ministries and visits to rural villages and towns for community evangelism programs. May these opportunities provide avenues for the gospel to continue to be preached in Cambodia. Please also pray for God’s healing of Rachelle’s shoulder and pain relief for her right shoulder. May God continue to bless the ministries in Cambodia.
1.Pastor Grace Liu was commissioned as a Missionary in the Canadian Chinese School of Theology Convocation Ceremony (Calgary), and ordained as a Missionary Pastor on September 11. On September 26, a Commissioning Ceremony was held at TMCCC. Brothers and sisters of TMCCC, and the Pastoral team laid hands on her to pray for her, expressing their partnership in her missionary task. May the Lord bless her ministry in UK.
1.Pastor Grace Liu will serve in England with COCM. The Commissioning Service will be held on Sep 26 (Sunday) 2:30 pm at TMCCC.
2.The Ordination Ceremony of Pastor So Ying Chu will be held on Oct 2 (Saturday) 2:00 pm at NYCCC.
3.Boonprasert & Boon Har Vijitrakul (CNEC)
Thanks to the Lord for healing Boon Har when she was infected with COVID-19 in April, and now she is feeling better. Praise God that their church in Chiangmai was able to conduct online Sunday worship, Sunday schools, cell group meetings, and visitation during the pandemic. The “Dawn Prayer” in the past 10 weeks was held 5 days a week at 5:30 am with an average of 40 participants.
Congratulations to Boonprasert’s 67th birthday and their 34th wedding anniversary.
Connect City is a Christ-centered missional organization that serves people in the city. This summer they ran two large summer camp programs serving people in homeless shelters, refugee centers and in government housing while also providing employment and leadership development opportunities to young adults they hired. “Camp Unity” for children and youth was held virtually while their other program was able to hold outdoor in-person. Praise God that both were very successful as they were not only able to serve and connect with community, but they were also able to build stronger relationships with the people.
In response to the appeal from Partners International, on behalf of the brothers and sisters in Christ in Afghanistan, ACEM will send an emergency relief fund to support 10 families with food, water and other basic necessities for three months. May God continue to multiply the funds and protect our brothers and sisters through the work of the global community.

Nellie Tham (OMF)
Nellie will be retiring in October after serving faithfully among the Mien people, in Thailand, for 28 years. Now she has returned to Singapore. May God raise up local leaders to continue the ministry He has blessed so much. Please also pray for her heart palpitations and cataract surgery.
Rev. Paul Chang (CNEC)
•Praise God that his team of local pastors in Myanmar has given out “Rain Relief Supplies” to the needy during the political crisis and pandemic.
•Please pray for the families of more than one hundred pastors in Myanmar who have died of Covid-19. CNEC is helping 80 bereaved families with a three-month relief fund
Carol Vuong
--SEND International of Canada
We thank and praise God for bringing Carol safely back from Taiwan for a six-month home assignment. While she is currently in quarantine right now, Carol hopes to meet with supporters in September either virtually or in person to share about her ministry in Taiwan Hakka Village.
Lewis and Felain Lam (Canadian Baptist Ministries):
Lewis and Felain will be returning from Germany to Toronto for summer and their son Caleb will be starting university soon. Please pray for their health and their family.
Selina Lin (Overseas Missionary Fellowship – OMF)
We are thankful for outreach opportunities despite the pandemic. As there are a lot of people coming to Japan for the Olympics, please pray for safety and protection for everyone. Pray for those that are still missing in the landslide in Atami and the residents that were affected. Please pray for my physical health as well as I have been experiencing numbness in the body due to the hot and humid summer weather in Japan.
